"I didn't come here to argue. I came here to invite you to the wedding. No matter what Sora thinks or feels she's making a bad decision to not have her family there, she's making a big mistake."
He smiled taking a sip of his coffee then he sat back straightening the cufflinks on his designer suit. This being our first time meeting I was looking him over trying to see Sora in him, understand where she came from because the rest of her life was still a mystery to me. "That's what she does makes mistakes and expects someone to fix it for her. Has she told you anything about us?" Shaking my head I bit the inside of my jaw as he smiled and took another sip of his coffee then he picked up his phone scrolling on it until he got to what he needed, then he passed it to me across the table. "She has a family, one she decided to leave to try and save our schizophrenic mother." Controlling my disbelief was easy on the the outside, but on the inside my heart was constricted. Sora was pictured beside an older black man with glasses, he looked just like her, her father, next to her was another boy who was darker, then Grant was standing beside a woman who was fair skinned with long wavy dark brown hair, her mother. "She tell you about us at all, or did she tell you that we all died in some tragic incident. What was it this time? A house fire? Car crash? I'll give it to my kid sister she can't paint a story so well even she'll began to believe it."
