Background: Sora aka Sor and Sebastian aka Seb are characters that I created from the sci fi novel I'm working on. Currently Sebastian is a baby in that novel and Sora is yet to be introduced but sometimes you have the pieces before the whole, so this is one of those pieces that may or may not be used for a future novel.
"So your parents never told you that you were immortal?" He played with my hair running his hands through it, his eyes focused on the TV watching the game. "Hm?" "I asked about how your parents never told you that you had powers until you started having symptoms like you dad." "It was a protection thing." Sitting up I eyed him with annoyance. "What?" "That's not protection Seb, that's lying." He smirked and kissed my lips trying to pull me back to him. Moving further away across the sofa gathered the blanket closer around me.
"Why are you aggravated? It happened years ago, we were having a nice time." "This is more than that, it's how you entire family is. All they do is lie and pass it off as "protecting" you. It's manipulation, controlling and -----------." "You call it what you want, but I have forgiven my parents for that. I'm over it." "OH MY GOD! HOW CAN YOU NOT SEE IT FOR WHAT IT IS?" "You know what you're constantly judging my family when you don't even know what it's like to have one."
